Why is PHASE III called THE (r)EVOLUTION PHASE?

Phase III offers the ability to be evolutionary and revolutionary at the same time, first and foremost. I wanted to create an experience that not only shows how I've grown as a designer, but one that also grows beyond just the normal experience of going onto a site and viewing ride after ride. The revolutionary aspect was in creating this site and allowing you all, the viewers, to step into my brain and see things from another perspective, as well as release things that I have never shown to others before. BUT, the main reason PHASE III was dubbed THE (r)EVOLUTION PHASE was because I wanted to have viewers create rides that could be inputted into the phase itself. I have only designed and produced six rides for this phase, and the other three will be coming from you all. If you have a design, you can contact me via this site and more details will come in an e-mail after. Think you have what it takes to create a truly (r)evolutionary design?

How often will designs be released?

THE (r)EVOLUTION PHASE is divided into three acts: ACT I - EVOLUTION, ACT II - (r)EVOLUTION, ACT III - DEVOLUTION. The first three designs fall into ACT I, and they will all be released Summer 2013. ACT II won't take place until 2014, along with ACT III as well. I want to leave space among the acts to allow for some breathing room, along with an opportunity to work on other projects. However, this phase will last almost a year and a half, so buckle up!

Do you have any idea when the first attraction is coming?

It was planned on being released the a week after the phase was announced, but my computer had hard drive issues and RCT3 would freeze once the file was loaded. The release date has been pushed back to JULY 12, 2013.

Can you clue us in on some more info regarding upcoming designs?

They're all big, they're all made of steel, and they do things that no one else has attempted before. Some of them take inspiration from classic attractions while others are new creations of my own brain. All of them feature inversions (I think), and most of them go over 60 mph. Almost all of them conform to the terrain that surrounds them, and they're all colorful.

Are you still going to be using the same music?

Yes and no. You will be hearing music off of ARTPOP when it is released, but music from well-known dance producers, pop singers, and EDM songs will be used. If Zedd, Madeon, Krewella, DallasK, Avicii, Ke$ha, Swedish House Mafia and more are found on your iPod or iPhone, then you're set!
